The CHALLENGE
This multi-structure riverfront complex consists of a central tower surrounded by four interconnected office buildings, with elevated courtyard and mechanical deck areas constructed over occupied interior spaces. On the riverside elevations, plaza and courtyard assemblies required waterproofing protection above conditioned areas, requiring careful detailing at structural transitions and high-traffic zones. On the city-facing side, a large chiller plant located over occupied space was fully removed, along with overburden materials and landscaped assemblies.
