On the riverside elevations, plaza and courtyard assemblies required waterproofing protection above conditioned areas, requiring careful detailing at structural transitions and high-traffic zones. On the city-facing side, a large chiller plant located over occupied space was fully removed, along with overburden materials and landscaped assemblies. ## The SOLUTION Following demolition, the exposed structural deck was prepared and waterproofed with the Laurenco system to restore long-term protection and maintain watertight integrity beneath future mechanical and surface installations. The work required strict coordination to mitigate risk to active interior operations below.
